BRAVADO TEAM UP WITH RALPH LAUREN, ABBEY ROAD AND SELFRIDGES

Ralph Lauren open Concept Corner exclusively in Selfridges hosting continuous launches of limited capsules and special projects.

On 12th November, to coincide with ‘Selfridges Rocks Christmas’ project, the Concept Corner will play host to a global exclusive initiative: ‘Polo Rocks’, a celebration of legendary British rock music.

As part of this, Polo Ralph Lauren debuts The Rock N’ Roll Polo Bear. In partnership with Abbey Road Studios and Bravado, five new Polo Bear designs are introduced, inspired by iconic British artists: The Rolling Stones; Queen; David Bowie; Sex Pistols; and The Who. This is the first time Polo Ralph Lauren has collaborated on the iconic Polo Bear.

The collection is exclusive to Selfridges and is part of Polo Ralph Lauren’s innovative Create Your Own service.

In addition to this global-first collection, the Concept Corner will also offer customers the ultimate rock ‘n’ roll experience, with an Abbey Road Studios SongShack. The SongShack, which houses a small “demo” studio, offers customers the opportunity to record a track, which is then mixed by a member of the Abbey Road engineering team and emailed direct to the ‘artist’.

NOAH RELEASES CAPSULE COLLECTION WITH TUFF GONG

Tuff Gong is a record label, studio and distribution company located in Kingston, Jamaica. Founded by Bob Marley in 1965, the name comes from Marley’s own nickname, which he earned as a teenager growing up in Trenchtown for his tough attitude.

The 11 piece collection is largely inspired by Bob Marley’s own aesthetic as well as the style of his contemporaries in music.  As with most honest, grass roots creative cultures, there existed a distinct organic style within the Jamaican music scene.  Tuff Gong and its artist were at the center of that culture.

XXXTENTACION – “17” ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION

To commemorate the one year anniversary of XXXTentacion’s first studio album “17”, the estate of Jahseh D. Onfroy released a capsule collection encompassing the essence of the album that launched X into mainstream success. The range included hoodies, tees, phone cases, lithographs, a snapback and a limited edition vinyl of the album, marking its first physical release. About one week before the collection dropped, “17” received platinum certification. Every product purchased in the US included a digital download of the album, which helped to secure the 7th spot on the Billboard 200 Chart.

KANYE WEST RELEASES NEW MERCHANDISE FOR “YE” AND “KIDS SEE GHOSTS” WITH KID CUDI

For the first time since The Life of Pablo, Kanye West has released new merchandise to coincide with his 2 new studio albums ye and Kids See Ghosts in collaboration with fellow BRAVADO artist Kid Cudi.

The ye merchandise made its debut at an exclusive listening party in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. During the live stream the six-piece collection was made available to the public on his store. The coveted merchandise was worn by Pusha T, Kim Kardashian West, Chris Rock, Desiigner, Lil Yachty + Nas to name a few.

A week later, the Kids See Ghosts collection dropped, the product features art by Takashi Murakami and is designed by Virgil Abloh. Murakami began the album cover work when West and Kid Cudi performed for him last year at his studio. The Kids See Ghosts collection includes a long-sleeve t-shirt, two hoodies, and a coaches jacket which Mr. West wore at the listening.

The highly anticipated merch grabbed the attention around the globe which led to unique experiences for fans in limited locations to witness Wyoming.

PLAYBOI CARTI: DIE LIT POP UP – NOUS PARIS

Bravado brings together a ground breaking collaboration between legendary British band Sex Pistols and one of the hottest US streetwear brands; Midnight Studios
The collection launched exclusively in the UK at Selfridges flagship store on London’s Oxford Street on 27th June with a special preview event instore on 26th June, complete with surprise guest A$AP Rocky. The range includes a series of high end t-shirts and sweatshirts created from original artworks and silhouettes based on the iconic band’s debut album, Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s the Sex Pistols. Plans are in place to launch the range next at LA’s H.Lorenzos this July.

To celebrate Migos’ headlining performance at Wireless Festival, Bravado joined forces with Selfridges in the UK to offer a special Culture II capsule, featuring exclusive designs for Selfridges as well as custom vintage pieces from the Migos by Saint Luis collection. Migos’ takeover of a section in one of the most prestigious, luxury department stores in the world further signifies the group’s dominating influence over the global cultural landscape. Migos also made a surprise store appearance much to the delight of the group’s adoring fans.  The full range is available exclusively at Selfridge’s flagship London location and select pieces from the collection can also be found on the Selfridges’ website.

TRAPSTAR HONORS 2PAC

Trapstar honors 2Pac by working alongside the late rapper’s estate for a collection that spotlights his influence on music, fashion, and culture. The London-based streetwear brand used exclusive Pac images, poetry, and artwork for the collaboration, which arrived June 16th and was sold exclusively on TrapstarLondon.com and their London flagship store.

“2Pac’s music, style, and energy has been an influence in my life since my teens. His words have got me through some testing times and I feel he’s done that for a lot of people across the world,” Trapstar co-founder and creative director Mikey Trapstar said. “He’s a cultural icon. He stood for something and Trapstar tries to do the same. We want to pay homage to that.”
